Betboro is another very young sports book that has only been around for a few years now. From parent company Webmedia Development out of Nevada. Although the license holders and owners are based in Nevada they are not licensed by the Nevada Gaming Control Board so they are not legal in their home country. This may raise a few flags for some but it’s not uncommon and doesn’t necessarily mean bad things.
Like many new sites Betboro are licensed with Curacao not in itself a bad thing but needs to be watched. The site is another one stop shop with casino, live casino, slots arcade and a fantasy sports section. Continuing the trend of dark coloured sites Betboro is rather drab and much the same as every other new offering. It’s almost as if a template is being used. Sports on the left, fixtures and markets in the middle and the betting slip on the right. With the ubiquitous banner ad for a slots game adding the only splash of colour on the whole page.
Yes it’s a sports book so you don’t want too many distractions but come on people grey and black? Anyway that’s a personal thing. The site is well put together and the functionality is very good. The company claims to have poached top management from big name bookies from across Europe. They claim to offer the customer more and meet their needs better than the bigger internet bookies. Too soon to tell on that one.
As a relative newbie on the block, Betboro have to offer a nice inticement. They do a 50% deposit bonus for new customers up to €100. The Betboro bonus is not a bad one when you look at the play though. Most offer a trifling amount as a bonus with just a x2 wagering requirement. Betboro offer the €100 with a x8 requirement. Ok so it is the bonus and the deposit that must be wagered eight times its not exactly a given that you will ever see the cash. But when you consider most casinos that offer this amount you will have to play through 30 times it’s not bad at all.
You have to meet the requirements within 60 days but even that’s better than most. If you remember that bonuses are just marketing tools you have to admit that Betboro offer more than most.
What they do have, and is very tangible, is a shed load of sports to bet on. All of the major football leagues from around the world with a nice amount of markets. At around the high/middle of the pack when it comes to footie markets you can tell the site is Euro focused. But not just European major leagues oh no U18, World friendlies, women’s matches more football than anybody needs. Then we have all of the major and minor leagues for basketball worldwide.
Ice hockey, baseball, American football they are all well represented. It’s not just the usual popular sports on offer though there’s plenty of the more obscure stuff too. Netball, futsal, chess, a ton of motorsport, Nascar, formula one, rally and speedway. Then we come to the stranger stuff Counter Strike, World of Tanks and that’s not even under their specialty bets. There’s one thing you have to agree on and that’s Betboro will take a wager on just about anything. There’s over 50 different ‘sports’ to bet on then you have the Oscars and other such events.
For a young bookies the odds that are offered are really competitive. If you fancy yourself as a bit of an arbiter you will probably find some odds at Betboro that will work for you. There’s nothing to out of order when it comes to the main events. For example Premier League football matches have very similar odds to the big boys. You will how ever find generally better odds at Betboro not by a massive amount but they are better.
Another nice touch and a nod to global customers is that the price format can be in a number of different ways. Fractional, decimal, American, Hong Kong, Malay and Indonesian. It’s merely a respect thing as there is no real different better them.
Betboro live in-play function is another very good set up. The odds track well and the software has no real delay. With around 5 000 events claimed the live betting is one of the best out there for choice. Couple that with a Betboro mobile app and you have a contender in the market. The mobile app is for both Android and iOS devices and it looks pretty good in fact it looks better than the main browser site. For such a newcomer to the industry Betboro are doing all the right things so far.
The banking options are excellent with the normal e-Wallets and debit/credit cards. There are also many banks onboard which is unusual to see, as is American Express but Betboro deposit methods are plentiful. That said there doesn’t seem to be much chatter in the forums regarding bad payouts or lack of options when it comes to withdrawal. The customer service teams are available 24/7 and also have agents in contact with the big forums. Disputes get sorted it seems as a lot of threads have a positive result.
There is one issue that takes the professional shine off the site. Some of the content is in very poor English it’s almost as if a piece of translation software has been used instead of a real native speaker. Which is a little strange when the parent company is out of Nevada. It is nit picking a bit. Everything seems to be good at Betboro time will be the big proving ground, so far so good.
